Spades unblocked is available to play for free online. Spades is the classic trick-taking card game where players bid the number of tricks they expect to win each round and then work to fulfil their bids. In this browser version of Spades you’ll build partnerships (or play solo), negotiate bids and play strategic cards in a fun casual card-game format.

How to Play

• Each round begins with players bidding the number of tricks they expect to win.
• After bidding, players play cards in clockwise order, following suit if possible — spades act as trump suits.
• If you cannot follow suit, you may play a spade or another card; a spade wins over other suits unless a higher spade is played.
• After all tricks in the hand are played, count how many tricks each player/team won; points are awarded or penalties applied based on bids versus actual trick count.
• Repeat hands for a full match; the player or team with the highest total score wins.
